I saw a group of old men sitting motionless and soundless, yet they appeared to be transfixed and in communication with someone far off on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>I turned to look in the direction they all were facing and I saw a most beautiful sun set scene as I had ever witnessed. Lucky for me there were not many branches to obscure my few from this angle.<\/p>\n<p>I too became gradually mesmerized by the huge, dimly lit orb of golden light that seemed to\u00a0elicit a most inspiring\u00a0awe of all who was\u00a0privileged\u00a0to behold. A spectacular display that drew the attention of man and birds alike.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"text-align: center;\" href=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/wp_blog\/?attachment_id=191\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-191\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"images-of-birds-green-heron-3\" src=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/wp_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/images-of-birds-green-heron-3-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"michigan-birds\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<dl id=\"attachment_191\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 210px;\">\n<dd>Michigan Birds &#8211; Green Heron<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This particular Sun that appeared in the sky of Jimme&#8217; that evening was a thousand times larger than the one where I come from&#8230; Continue\u00a0<a title=\"images of birds\" href=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/Birds-of-Michigan-by-Ike%20Austin\/content\/_5108488704_large.html\">Images of Birds<\/a> here at the nature-photography\u00a0photo gallery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Images of Birds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>There is plenty of opportunity to capture many striking images of birds throughout Michigan during summer and winter months.<\/p>\n<p>This Sun was\u00a0magnificent! I realized I had not inquired of it&#8217;s name. I would<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_194\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/wp_blog\/?attachment_id=194\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-194\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-194\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-194\" title=\"images-of-birds-green-heron-2\" src=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/wp_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/images-of-birds-green-heron-2-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"Michigan Birds\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-194\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Green Heron Michigan Birds<\/p><\/div>\n<p>later, in a most\u00a0mystifying\u00a0way in my encounter with the man who write&#8217;s on thin air, I would later in life discover the awesome identity of that, particular, Sun.<\/p>\n<p>On one occasion, I spotted a large green bird perched up high in a tall tree sitting on a branch in full attention, dressed to kill in it&#8217;s Sunday&#8217;s best of forest green plumage, but what a most striking image of this Michigan Bird as it seemed to stretch and pose for the camera shot.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">ThirdSon and the River\u2019s Sky<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"17%\">\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/image-files\/thirdson-rivers-sky-thumb.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"images of birds\" src=\"https:\/\/nature-photography.daystarbooks.com\/image-files\/thirdson-rivers-sky-thumb.jpg\" alt=\"images of birds\" width=\"133\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>ThirdSon and the River&#8217;s Sky<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<td width=\"83%\">\n<ul>\n<li>As a kid, I spent an enormous amount of time down by the river. I was drawn like a magnet to the many sounds of nature that filled the air-the tides rumbling ashore, the faint call of seagulls echoing in the distant background. I would remain there all day under the pretense that I was fishing. I would walk the shores for miles, moving from one spot to the next.
